Pressure Reducing Valve Installed

High Water Pressure can Cause Leaks

This customer reported water leaking in the irrigation system. Mena Plumbing tested the water pressure and determined the line to be at 140# water pressure. A pressure reducing valve on potable water was installed. If water leaks keep reoccurring, connect a gauge to determine water service pressure. 80# water pressure is acceptable, anything above 80# calls for a recommendation for installing a pressure reducing valve.
